Watershed, LLC v. ROC Gear, Inc. et al., Case No. 2:11-cv-01119 (E.D.La. 2011) – Represented defendants accused of patent infringement, copyright infringement, trade dress infringement and unfair competition by competitor. Negotiated favorable settlement prior to discovery.

OnBrand Media, Inc. v. Codex Consulting and Open Systems, Inc., 687 S.E.2d 168, 301 Ga. App. 141 (Ga. App. 2009). Represented co-defendants accused of trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, trademark infringement, fraud, breach of non-disclosure and non-compete restrictive covenants, and numerous additional torts. Successfully opposed motion for preliminary injunction and dismissed all thirteen claims on summary judgment. Atlanta Bread Company Intl. v. Flavor Café Bakery, LLC, et al, Case No. 2006-cv-113033 (Fulton Co. Superior Court 2006). Represented former employee accused of trade secret misappropriation. Negotiated favorable settlement prior to close of discovery.

Jackson & Coker Locum Tenens, LLC v. PrimeHealth, LLC et al, Case No. 2006-cv-123371 (2006) – Represented multiple co-defendants accused of misappropriating trade secrets from former employer. Successfully negotiated favorable settlement prior to start of discovery.

Furukawa Electronic North America, Inc. v. Sterlite Optical Technologies, Inc., et al., Case No. 1:02-CV-2149-CAP (N.D.Ga. 2002). – Represented multinational corporation accused of infringing three patents and misappropriating valuable trade secrets. Invalidated all claims of one patent on summary judgment. Negotiated favorable settlement prior to trial.

Intercontinental Hotels Group – Implemented UDRP procedure and prevailed in numerous UDRP proceedings against cyber-squatters.

Mark Seigel is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Mark has also represented numerous clients in domain name dispute proceedings before the World Intellectual Property Organization.
